They are both resistant to temperature changes and extra sturdy, whilst retaining all of their elegance and attractiveness.

Microwaves

RAK Porcelain guarantees quick cooking or heating without affecting the taste or flavour of your dishes. The products used in our glazes meet the standards of BS EN 15284:2007. Please note, some items are not suitable for microwave heating due to the presence of metal particles in the decorations, this is systematically stated in the description of the items concerned.

Thermal shock

RAK Porcelain can withstand temperature changes thanks to the mineral and chemical components that make it exceptionally tough and highly resistant to thermal shock. Its resistance to thermal shock is regularly tested using the BS EN 1183:1997 method.

Mechanical shock

The exceptional toughness of RAK Porcelain and of its different glazes makes it exceptionally resistant to chips and mechanical shock. Impact tests are regularly carried out in independent laboratories using the BS EN 12980:2000 method, with outstanding results. Our products are universally durable, thus meeting the functional expectations of professionals and individuals alike.

Heat retention

Once the dishes are served, our products retain heat, ensuring the food remains at the right temperature throughout the meal. The mineral components of the porcelain ensure a high degree of thermal inertia..

Dhwasher

Our glazes are developed to guarantee ultra smooth and regular surfaces, making them quick and easy to clean. BS EN 12875-4:2006 tests are carried out regularly in laboratories, the outstanding quality of our products means we can guarantee they will retain their new appearance for a long time.

100% Hygienic

RAK Porcelain is 100% safe and is regularly tested using the DIN EN ISO 11885 (2009-09) method to ensure it is free from lead and cadmium. The inks and other components we use for our decorations also meet current standards and are neither harmful nor liable to come into contact with food or the human body. Our products are strictly non-porous, and therefore absorb neither grease, nor odours, nor bacteria, thus guaranteeing perfect hygiene.

Traceability

Each item is stringently monitored, from the moment it is manufactured to the moment it is delivered to the user, via a traceability system identifying each item. We know exactly when and with which ingredients our products have been manufactured, which allows us to identify any corrective action that needs to be taken, or to isolate batches where necessary.
